Mansour bin Zayed approves the program for the 2023-2024 season of endurance races at the Emirates Global Village in Al Wathba.

On August 7th, in Abu Dhabi, His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Presidential Affairs, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Emirates International Endurance Village, approved the race program for the new season 2023-2024. The program includes 8 different races across various categories.

The season's highlight, the President of the State Cup for Endurance, will take place on February 11, 2024, at the Emirates International Endurance Village in Al Wathba. The first race of the new season will be the National Day Cup, covering a distance of 120 kilometers, held on November 26th, in conjunction with the country's National Day celebrations.

On December 2nd, the race for Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak for private stable owners will cover a distance of 100 kilometers. Following that, on February 17, 2024, the Sheikha Fatima bint Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan Cup for ladies will take place over a distance of 100 kilometers. The next day, the Sheikha Mohammed bin Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan Cup for private stables, covering 100 kilometers, will be held. The Sheikha Zayed bin Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan Cup for private stables, covering 100 kilometers, is scheduled for March 15th.

The races hosted by the Emirates International Endurance Village in Al Wathba include the Abu Dhabi Festival, starting with the ladies' race over 100 kilometers on March 16, followed by the open race covering 120 kilometers the next day, concluding the season.

Muslim Al Ameri, the General Manager of the Emirates International Endurance Village in Al Wathba, affirmed the completion of preparations to welcome the races of the new 2023-2024 season, with the support and sponsorship of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Presidential Affairs. He explained that the village's management is committed to continuously improving the races based on His Highness's directives, providing support to owners, and encouraging them to preserve and advance the sport of endurance racing.

He stated, "The village began preparations for the new season at the end of the previous season, working to organize it wonderfully and beautifully, meeting expectations and confirming the UAE's leadership in endurance races and its excellence. This has been affirmed in previous seasons through organizing races according to the highest international standards in technical, logistical, and administrative aspects." He emphasized that Al Wathba Village is keen to make the races of the new season an extension of the successes achieved in previous seasons, consisting of 8 races, including the President of the State Cup, National Day Cup, races for ladies, private stables, and the Abu Dhabi Endurance Festival held at the end of the season in the village.
