The Al Wathba Stables riders imposed their dominance on the
podium in the Federation Day race organized by the Emirates
International Endurance Village in Al Wathba in conjunction with the
country’s celebrations of the 52nd Federation Day, after they ran
the race according to the plan drawn up by coach Ali Al
Jahouri for the four horses who supervise their training. He pushed her
into the race. Despite the desperate attempts of the rest
of the riders, the finish line witnessed 3 horses entering the Al
Wathba stables at once, so that the rider Omar Al Neyadi
won the title, and the jockey Masa Adnan, riding the
horse “Tunki Di Bo Mia,” came in second place, then the jockey Waad
Nadim, riding the horse “Ro Patagonia.” In third place. Trainer
Ali Al Jahouri dedicated Al Wathba Stables’ achievement
and its obtaining the first three places to His Highness Sheikh Mansour
bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President of the UAE.
Deputy Prime Minister and Head of the Presidential
Office, and coach Ali Al-Jahouri expressed his happiness at
achieving the historic achievement, pointing out that Al
Wathba Stables’ focus is always on major races such as the Federation
Day Cup and the Cup of His Highness the President
of the State. Trainer Ali Al-Jahouri, who has many
accomplishments in major event races, said that the stable
entered the race with four horses considered elite, of
which three occupied the top three places. This is
considered a great achievement because such races always witness
large participation from various stables. He continued:
“The horse Excalibur Hippolyte is one of the distinguished
horses, and during the race he was well thought of,” noting that
he had previously achieved seventh place during the last edition of
the His Highness the President’s Cup race, a distance of 160 km.
